Donkey Kong Barrel Blast - great fun for kids

Lots of great deals on older games now...among them is Donkey Kong Barrel Blast.

It's pretty easy for kids to play, just pound the nunchuk and the wiimote and away you go.

We've only had the game for about two days now, so we're still in the process of unlocking all the levels.

If there is one drawback it's that when you open the box you only get two circuits - the rest you've got to win to unlock

Wii Sports Resort - Great for Kids - Best events

We've had Wii Sports Resort for a week now - with our crack team of adults and kids testing it out.

For the kids - under 10 set here are our favorites:

Swordplay
- the slicing competition is great fun and easy enough even for a 4 year old
-the battle section is a little harder, for younger kids so don't expect much from them

Cycling:
-surprisingly this was a kid favorite with our test group. It's not hard and the kids just loved the pedalling

The other events are fun too - but those two events - so far - are the favorites

We're back!

After a short hiatus - we're back!

Life got in the way of posting , but the Nintendo Wii has still been keeping us busy (and sane).
